Derek died in Mayday Hospital on Sunday 5th October after a short battle with liver cancer. His funeral was held at 1:30 pm on Thursday 16th October at Croydon Crematorium. CATS was represented at the funeral by Secretary G8JAC, G0KZT, G3WZK and XYL, G3YCR, G4FKK and G6YOG.
