A Monday has been chosen because it is a full working day at the museum and access to all departments will be possible, including it is hoped, the museum workshop. Two alternative timings are available: 1) Arrive at 09.45, tour the museum until 12.00 followed by lunch in the wardroom. 2) Arrive at 11.45, lunch in the wardroom followed by the museum tour. There is an inclusive fee of £10 which includes the cost of lunch (with wine), drinks in the mess and a donation to the museum running costs. As HMS Collingwood is an active navy establishment, dress rules apply in the wardroom i.e. jacket and tie are required. As is normal with civilian access to service establishments, we are required to supply the names of all visitors and vehicle registration numbers in advance.
